Meet the Faculty

James Greenwood

James Greenwood is a Florida native. At a very early age, he showed an interest in drawing that led to a position teaching cartooning at Brevard Community College. After graduating college, he worked for the School Board of Hillsborough County, where he taught students of various needs and grade levels. Afterwards, he worked at a private university, where he was both the department chair and one of the instructors of the Commercial Art Department. He is currently the Department Chair of Graphic Design at the International Academy of Design & Technology - Online. He has over six years of experience in adult education.

James Greenwood | Interesting Faculty Info - Besides freelance work, James has worked for U.S. Space Camp Florida as a calligrapher. He has also created design work for Driven Concepts LLC, FMU, and Chief Dogs. He currently is working on cover art for the third novel written by Steve Rothenbuehler.

James has several degrees and is currently working on another in Digital Photography. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Art, with concentrations in Drawing and Lithography from the University of South Florida and a Master of Business Administration degree from Strayer University. Additionally, he has an Associate of Science degree in Commercial Art from Florida Metropolitan University.

Besides freelance work, James has worked for U.S. Space Camp Florida as a calligrapher. He has also created design work for Driven Concepts LLC, FMU, and Chief Dogs. He currently is working on cover art for the third novel written by Steve Rothenbuehler. He has contributed design work for the Habitat for Humanity charity. James is a member of the National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP), the American Advertising Federation, and the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA).
