Meet the Faculty

Glen Perotte

Glen Perotte first started working in advertising photography in 1982 as an apprentice to New York advertising photographer, Owen Brown; it was under the tutelage of Brown that opened up Glen’s creative potential. After a few years assisting, Glen relocated back to London, England (his birth place), where he spent 18 years running a successful advertising photography business. His client list included Coca Cola, Microsoft, and American Express.

Although Glen made his living from commercial photography; his personal work is what eventually defined him. Glen has exhibited his work throughout Europe including shows in Berlin, Spain, and London. His portrait work has bought him much acclaim within the European photographic industry; he was the recipient of no fewer than a dozen awards and mentions at the British Association of Photographers Awards (AoP), the Royal Photographic Society and the London Photographic Awards.

In 2003, Glen returned stateside. He holds an Associate degree in Interactive Media, a Bachelor’s in Graphic Design and is currently studying for his Masters.

Glen is fulltime Graphic Design faculty at IADT-Online. His recent achievements consist of being the recipient of two Silver ADDY® Awards, a finalist in the International Photography Awards, a finalist in the National Geographic Photo Awards, an exhibition of his fine-art photography at The Tampa Museum of Art, and most recently a solo show at the Morean Arts Center, St Petersburg FL.
