Meet the Faculty

Matthew Pummel

Matthew Pummel has been with The International Academy of Design and Technology for over 10 years. He is currently the Department Chair of the Web Design and Development and Internet Marketing programs at the International Academy of Design & Technology - Online. He worked in the IT department before he began teaching classes in the Graphic Design, Web Design, and Web Development programs. Matthew has also worked for the School District of Hillsborough County, Florida where he instructed teachers in website creation, and technology integration in the classroom.

Matthew earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Visualization Technology from ITT Technical Institute. He received numerous design awards and graduated with academic honors. He is currently working on his Media Thesis for his Master of Fine Arts degree in Media Design Management.

Matthew is the Vice President of the Anti-Litter campaign for the City of Tampa. He is also the creative art director for the Friends of Clean City, a non-profit organization committed to helping keep Tampa clean.
