December 2009 - Web Design Graduate
Associates Degree
My education at IADT Online enhanced my career development by giving me the skills I need to move further in my career and to be knowledgeable about the work I am doing.
The five most important skills I learned in school were; Web vs. Print, How to write a Request for Proposal, CRAP Principles (Contrast, Repetition, Alignment, and Proximity), Differences between HTML, XHTML, CSS, Flash and how to use them together and how to use several new design programs.
Teachers are open to helping students; they offer suggestions and follow up to ensure students understand their assignments.
Before finishing my last few classes, my instructors were very positive and encouraging. They let us know that we would still be able to contact them after we had finished school and moved on. It is great to know we would still be able to have a connection with our instructors after we graduated.
